There are two joint stable visits coming up with the Northern Racing Club.

On Saturday 23 March 2019, there is a stable visit to Oliver Greenall with the option of going on to Bangor-on-Dee races in the afternoon.

This is followed by a stable visit to a number of stables in Newmarket organised by Newmarket vet and Northern Racing Club members Belinda Rose on Wednesday 17 April 2019.

Details have been sent to all Club members.

The races for the penultimate round of the March ITV Competition are from the meeting at Kelso.

An enjoyable race day at Taunton on Monday when I had the opportunity to meet Club member John for the first time.

Club members were sent a preview of the meeting and it pinpointed two winners Scaramanga and Smarty Wild. The WRC snippet was Rolling Dylan who was beaten a head in the finish of the day at 11/2.

Friday's WRC snippet American Tom finished 2nd at 5/6 beaten 1/2 length at Fakenham.

A winning charity football bet was sent to Club members as MK Dons come from behind to win 3-1 at Macclesfield Town.

The amount raised for Bridie's chosen charity is up to £106.77.

Another new leader in the Classic/Wales Racing Club Super 6 league as Nigel hits the front. There has been a new leader after each of the last 4 rounds.

The updated standings in the ITV Competition are on the site now afer the second of the five weeks.

The next stable visit is confirmed as a joint visit with the Northern Racing Club to the stables of Oliver Greenall.

There is racing at nearby Bangor-on-Dee in the afternoon for those who wish to travel on there.

The charity football bet selection for this weekend has been sent to all Club members.

The next round of the Classic/Wales Racing Club Super 6 league is on Saturday at 3pm.

Sunday's WRC snippet Sideways finished 2nd at 9/4 just being outstayed after the last.

The next round of the Classic/Wales Racing Club Super 6 League is on Tuesday at 7.45pm so do your selections before then.

The next round of the Classic/Wales Racing Club Super 6 league is on Wednesday so those in the league need to do their predictions by 7.45pm that day.

There was a WRC snippet on 25 February which was Rio Quinto who drifted from 7/4 to 5/2 at the off which wasn't a good sign and he eventuall finished a tired 4th.

He led initially and then raced in second for a curcuit and hit the front and led the field into the straight but once passed by the eventual winner he had response and probably went for home too far out and was unable to sustain the run.

The dates/meetings of the March members racing competition are on the site now.

I have added an additional race day at Hereford on Tuesday 26 March.

A winning WRC charity bet on Saturday as Bury come from behind to beat Oldham Athletic 2-1 which when coupled with a donation generously given by Club member Ian brings the total raised so far for Bridie's chosen charity up to £98.27.

Saturday saw Paul win the inaugural Classic/Wales Racing Club Super 6 F.A.Cup as he defeats Andrew 8-6 and he wins £20 towards a purchase with our sponsor www.candcperfumefactory.co.uk

The February 2018 members racing competition starts on Wednesday and runs through to Friday.

Two selections are needed from the meeting at Ludlow on the opening day, then Huntingdon on Thursday and finally Exeter on Friday.
